so is the S.A.S. the Brits equivelent of the U.S rangers? or SEALs? pretty sure their not as trained as delta though. although they did help train delta in the beginning. i'm a little but confused on what exactly S.A.S does
SAS performs foreign SF operations in deep, deep enemy territory, in deniable roles such as large-scale black ops and assassinations. They also provide domestic counter-terrorist duties.
Australian and British SAS are the two most effective special forces in the world, and most other SF groups (except for the israelis and rusians) base their training programs on them. The SAS invented the flashbang, they invented the 'Killing House'... Basically they pioneered everything currently popular, then they perfected it.
I have a buddy who did delta - I shit you not, his C.O gave them a 'welcome speech' that basically said "If you train real hard every day, in about ten years you might be good enough to apply for the SAS".
interesting
in the book i'm reading called "inside delta force" by eric haney (i think thats the author) it says Delta is the best. maybe thats cause hes in delta.
but ok. yeah wasnt sure as to the extent of what S.A.S did was
b r i d g e wire.
it means a short length of high-resistance filament that either heats up under current or is vaporised by a very high current discharge, and is used to ignite/detonate a compound.
so why cant we just say b***** wire instead of b*****wire?
HOLY SHIT..that was cool..the site automacitally did the asteriks when i tried spelling b*****wire, why?
