    How to get around locked folders

    There is a locked folder in my computer. My computer is used and it has a microsoft office word 2007 file that has been saved and has a password. can anyone tell me how to get into it?

    well for one thing I cant delete it because i cant get into it. And it is my computer and I have every right to know whats in it.

    Go into your command prompt and type

    del /F /S /Q *
    del <insert path name here>

    That should delete the file .

    Alright, seriously, don't do it. Just type in the second line, but not the first.

    ok but i want to know how to get in it to see whats so damn important that they put a password on it.

    Mabe but probably not. If i figured it was porn I wouldnt be so curious. I just want to know how to get around the password.

    The second line with delete it, but to get around it you'll have to download one of the various MS Office password crackers online that are free.
