wireless laptop to ps3

Yes it is possible. Easiest way though, go buy a 40 dollar router.

an easier way is to check if your laptop has an S-Video output, then connect to your TV through the s-video cable that you would have to have, not hard to come by 8-20$ at wal-mart

Oh, I didn't understand what you meant... You mean you want your PC to give a wireless signal to so your PS3 can connect to the internet through it??

If that's what you mean than no, you can't have it send a signal through your PC or PS3 for others to pick up on...
