I'm tired of these bands devoid of creativity going around complaining about their upper middle class lives. Even people I know are starting to make their own emo and post-hardcore bands and that just pisses me off because I used to respect some of those people. Who else can agree with me when I say that emo is for tools and posers who will probably ditch this trend for whatever comes over next

Emo, is a mindset... And it's pretty damn annoying. The attire is just a plus.
Then you got those kids that think it would be "fun" to dress up in pricey black clothes and talk about what's it... uh...I actually forgot the name....the vampire book that became a movie... ANYWAYS, those kids are sheep, lemmings, the target consumer! whatever you'd like to call them.

The funny thing is: they have perfectly good lives. They complain not because they want attention but because it's a persona they're shooting for. And that persona is extre***y... stale...If you will.

I won't. I do my best to avoid the latest trends, and for a while emo was that trend. Therefore I avoided emo as if it were the plague. However, I recently have gathered that the trend of being emo has died down, and the trend of hating emo is ballooning, therefore i can no longer hate emo, no matter how annoying, pitiful and worthless i feel it is. Go cry in a corner.
