simple trip bomb

rite so i thot i'd post a lil idea i had,
get a party popper cut away the plastic and get the small explosive on the string, add more string, secure the small explosive to w/e larger explosive that is easily ignitable, secure the bomb to something solid so that it wont budge when the string is pulled, boom.

I figure the small explosive in the party popper wouldnt be sufficient to ignite something.Even if they could,they dont generally work all the time.Most likely,it would fail.

yer it's true it's a possible fail but if ya increased the amount of small explosive it might, like all u need it somethin volatile and ur sorted?

I would do the idea I was planning on using,a cell phone,battery,and a few wires.Use the cellphone's vibrating engine to complete a circuit,connected to the battery and wires of course.Thus,you would be able to walk around and deonate the bomb instead of having to sit there with the fuse system.

there wudnt be a fuse....? lol the string from the party popper ignites the small explosive when it's pulled out.... thats y it's a trip bomb like?

don't use the word "bomb" and the charge in a party popper is probably not enough to ignite/detonate anything, you might be able to detonate an acetone peroxide charge with it, but i doubt it. you want a trip switch, take a close pin, put foil around both sides(the clip part) and attach one wire to one side and the other wire to the other side, take a piece of cardboard put a string on it, and put it in the cloths pin, when the string is pulled out it completes the circuit, connecting the power source to your electrical detonator. or you could do what i would do and use a laser beam

A really shitty pullstring igniter? I suppose you could develop one to work.

It would be pretty impractical but there are things which would detonate from it.
