Ethanol gets you drunk, and is then broken down into acetaldehyde, which gets you more drunk, which is then broken down into acetic acid which gets you hung over.

I have to agree with that. If that is true, then why not shoot up acetaldehyde. Then you could possibly add a substance that alters the chemical structure of acetic acid to nullify it's effects. If not, then add something to counteract it maybe?
