    Semi automatic?

Pretty much, what you need to do, I there is a locking mechanism that after the round is fired, the hammer/bolt-firing pin assembly locks back. You need to design it so that if the trigger is still held down, that it doesn't lock back. I don't know really anything about the Mossberg 715T so I can't tell you what that is. But, if you are a smart chap, you should be able to figure it out pretty easy.

seems like a dumb thing to go to prison for, just saying.

but ya, buddha's link should suffice. poor man's james bond (volume 1 i think) also has a few how to's on such things. you can usually find them in pdf format on torrent and downloading sites.
