    Dicyanoacetylene

    has anyone ever heard of this? it is supposedly the hottest burning fuel in the world, its chemical formula is NC4N, it burns at about 9000 degrees Fahrenheit, anyone have any more info about this? or know how it can be synthesized, or obtained?

    my mistake its chemical formula is NC4N(don't think i can make a subscript on here)

    EDIT:

    this is what the molecule looks like:

    N≡C-C≡C-C≡N

    '≡' Triple Covalent Bond
    '-' Single Covalent Bond
    C = Carbon
    N = Nitrogen

    Well according to wikipedia, which every other web source seems to be based of of, to obtain it you could make it by replacing acetylene's two hydrogen atoms with cyanide groups. Or, you could take a quick trip to "Titan" and steal some from the atmosphere.

    Probably repeating what you two already know (sorry), just wanted to help.
