Fuse? wired electric ignition/detonation? wireless electric ignition/detonation? mechanical non-fuse ignition/detonation?

i'm curious to see what you guys use, and how effective it is

if i'm lazy i use fuse, otherwise i have a series parallel circuit wired electric ignition system, using broken xmas tree lightbulbs full of whatever flammable powder i have.

i'm tempted to make a wireless but i dont want to die because i cant encrypt radio signals

and before you read my detailed explanation look at the pics because you can probably figure it out from them

materials:
-String or cord of some sort (must be able to support the amount of weight you plan to drop on someone and be resistant to fraying from friction)
-Knife
-Saw or axe if the knife doesnt have serrations
-Log of a size you chose, must be heavy enough to overcome the friction of the rope against a tree limb
-Living (or recently living) stick around 1 inch in diameter
-smaller stick of sturdy wood (doesn't really matter as long as its sturdy, you'll see in the pic
-Fishing line or dark colored thin-yet-strong cord (i use 1/8 inch nylon i think) for the tripwire

procedure:
Use the saw, axe or knife to cut two pieces of wood of the same length (3-6 inches would work, but 4 or 5 is best) that are around one inch in diameter and preferably recently living (easier to cut and stronger, in my opinion). Then with the saw or axe or knife or any combination of the three cut a wedge out of both of the 1 inch diameter sticks about an inch from the bottom (see pic) and again on the opposite side about 3/4 of an inch from the top (see pic). Also, cut (or find on the ground) a stick approximately 1/4 to 1/3 inch in diamter and around 1 and 1/2 to 2 inches long. in the middle of that cut a small groove going around the full diameter of the stick. this will serve as a groove for your tripwire to be attached to, and this is the trip devise called an "A-trip" device.



throw a line (the heavier one, i use "camo nylon cord" from walmart, its 50 feet for like 1.38 $ and is sturdy and low friction) over a sturdy branch that extends over the area you desire to trap. tie a log to that line but let it sit for now. with your tripline, tie a knot around a tree opposite the area of trapping (size doesnt matter as long as its sturdily in the gound) and pull the other end across the path to the base of the tree that you are using the limb of for the log. using a slipknot attach the tripline to the small stick with a grove in it, and put it in the bottom grooves on the 2 equal length pieces to form the cross part of the A. (bad sentences). pull the line that is bearing the load of the log until the log is level with the limb (see other pic). then take the loadbearing line and wrap it around the back of the tree to where the A-trip is at the end of the tripline. tie it to the top of the "A" grooves using a slip knot. then REMEMBER WHERE YOUR FUCKING TRIPLINE IS. i almost got FUCKED by one of my traps because i set it off because i forgot where the tripline was.

DONT BE STUPID AND ACTUALLY TRY TO KILL PEOPLE WITH THIS..YOU EASILY COULD. I AM GIVING YOU INFORMATION TO DO WITH AS YOU WILL, BUT I DO NOT SUGGEST LEAVING THE TRAP SET.

also i figured all this out (no one told me how...i'm sure its been done before though) except for the A-Trip device, which i saw a glimpse of in a tv show about traps and was not told how to make one, but it was fairly clear (weaponology)


oh, and for the swing trap? figure it out yourself, use that brain of yours. took me about 3 minutes to figure out how to do it at the location.



edit:i forgot to mention how the trap functions, although it should be obvious. when the tripline is walked through (if the A-trip device is good enough they will barely even notice the tension of the rope against their leg) the small stick that the tripline is attached to will come dislodged from the 2 larger stick's grooves, and the line will no longer be secured, allowing for the log to drop rapidly (if heavy enough...the one in the pic feels like 20 or 30 pounds and drops quite fast).

when people walk through the tripline they might feel a slight resistance, but then by nature they will try to pull through it thinking its a weed or stick thats caught. and thats not a hypothesis. i absent mindedly walked through my tripline, felt the little tug at my shin, unconsciously pulled through it and then thought "FUCK" and literally dove forward as the log crashed about a foot behind me.

also, i have gotten bored and replaced the middle section of the tipline (only the part that is on the path itself) with a branch from a tree, so one would either pull if off to the side or kick it away. that was attatched to a swing trap (seen in the pic of the swing trap) that was at face level, try that if you feel so inclined, although i dont know how effective it is. when using the normal tripwire try to keep it low enough to the ground that it is not easily visible yet high enough to walk through (i do around 4 inches, thats what got me) and try to have it about a pace behind where the log falls, so they take a step through the line and end up being under the log. also try to disguise the loadbearing line]]> http://www.anarchistcookbook.com/showthread.php?t=21469 Weapons Ninjaofdeth> http://www.anarchistcookbook.com/showthread.php?t=20709 Sat, 30 Aug 2008 08:32:48 GMT
i was wondering, have any of you made a ghillie suit? if so what lengths of burlap work the best? i'm thinking 6-12 inches

also, for a stalker ghillie (front and back have the burlap on them) is it best to have one solid color, or a plethora of slightly different colors, so to be more natural looking? i'm thinking light green, a forest green, a grass green, a tiny bit of yellow, and a bit of natural burlap. any colors that i should or shouldnt do? where i would be using it is a forest with mildly dense covering of little plants on the ground, with lots of buckthorn and oak and spruce trees. theres also a patch of tall grass, which is where i think my ghillie will be primarily used.

and finally, do you prefer cha***eon ghillies or normal ghillies better?

if anyone has made a ghillie suit, and knows answers to any of these questions or has any advice, it would be much appreciated.

a little bit ago i stole some steel wool from my school, and i have expiramented; with 9 volts it burns and can ignite model rocket engine powder. would this plan work? my plan is to have one wire attatched to one side of a 9v battery and that end is just the wire, but on the other part of the 9v to have a wire that leads to a pushbutton switch, and from that have a wire leading to the other end of the first wire, and then wrap steel wool around the end. in theory when the button is pushed it would close the circut and ignite the steel wool which would ignite my co2 canister bomb i made.
