In Russia, if you have dark hair and a slightly swarthy complexion, you are likely to be in danger. Sadly, the country�s leaders have tolerated, if not encouraged, fear of foreigners and assaults on those whose appearance differs from the average Russian.
In a residential area of Moscow, a group of adolescents, many with shaven heads and wearing combat boots, marches and shouts Russian nationalist slogans. When they come across three Azeri boys, they don�t hesitate. Soon, one of the boys � only 13 years old � lies severely injured; he will have to be hospitalized. The other two are injured as well. The perpetrators are never caught.
Bashir Osiyev, 24, an Ingush-born clerk in a Moscow bank, is assaulted by a group of skinheads while walking home with a friend. The friend is badly wounded but manages to escape. Osiyev dies after being stabbed in the back. Two of the assailants are injured in the course of the fight and arrested after seeking medical assistance at a hospital. The others are never caught.
Two men from the Caucasus are on their way to the metro and are attacked by a group of adolescents with knives. Both are treated in the hospital, the perpetrators escape unrecognized.
In a small town in central Russia, two Uzbeks are viciously beaten up by a group of teenagers.
All of these incidents occurred within just one week. They are picked at random from an endless series of similar assaults, many of which end fatally.
The authorities tend to play down these attacks as the acts of rowdies � even when the perpetrators are caught and can be prosecuted. This is because charging someone with racism and xenophobia is more complicated and the process more drawn out than winning a conviction for simple thuggery.
Indeed, racists can be assured of considerable sympathy from the security forces and the public. After all, these attacks generally don�t occur in some dark alleyway. In most instances, they take place in crowded markets, metro stations, or simply in busy streets.‑Pedestrians nearby look the other way, even if the victims are women and children.
A Chechen friend of mine and her 14-year-old son were attacked on the street by three drunken skinheads. The skinheads began to push them around and harass them, as people on the street looked away and kept moving. My friend managed to talk insistently to the three until eventually they left her and her son alone, only to pounce on a married couple that happened to be passing by. The man looked like he was Jewish, they insisted loudly, and started to push him around. But he�s Russian, his frightened wife insisted, whereupon the three apologized and let him go.
Neither husband nor wife were alarmed that the three drunks were chasing Caucasus natives and Jews but pressed charges because they, as Russian citizens, had been harassed. My friend didn�t. It would not do any good, she said resignedly, and then spoke of how her 12-year-old daughter is repeatedly told at school that all Chechens are criminals and that nobody likes them.
Since the day that then-President Vladimir Putin spoke on television of wasting Chechen terrorists in the outhouse, hatred of Caucasus natives has become all but socially acceptable. Once again, a subgroup of the population has been declared outlaws and potential terrorists, satisfying people�s urge to find a clearly identifiable enemy who can be blamed for all that is wrong in the country. While there has been no lack of speeches calling for tolerance and condemning racist and anti-Semitic attacks, the situation barely changes.
The Soviet Union was anything but tolerant. But since its collapse, a gnawing feeling of inferiority has crept into Russian society. Both the state and openly racist, xenophobic and anti-Semitic groups � of which there are dozens, as well as more than 100 clearly xenophobic publications � increasingly ignore the country�s multi-ethnic character. In an everyday context, this is reflected in slogans like �Russia for Russians,� which really means white European Russians.
The attacks therefore are directed in equal measure against people from the former Soviet republics in Central Asia, as well as Russian citizens from the Caucasus or who belong to one of the country�s 90 national minorities. The state hypocritically expresses its concern while doing nothing to oppose it, because too many officials are only too willing to exploit such sentiments.

How to Make Ammonium Nitrate

Some Militants who don't have much dynamite use ammonium nitrate. This
can be bought by anyone at $3.75 for and 80 pound bag. It is fertilizer.

Ammonium nitrate explodes at rates up to 14,000 feet per second. It is
roughly compared to dynamite having 60% nitro.

The fertilizer grade Militants use is mixed with motor oil at the ratio of
one pint of oil to 8-1/2 pounds of ammonium nitrate. This has to be detonated
with a stick of gelatin dynamite [I didn't say all was easy. Try to find
another file about that crap.].

Purified ammonium nitrate can be detonated with a number six dynamite cap.
The pure stuff can be bought at chemical supply houses or the fertilizer grade
can be purified with distilled wood alcohol.

Put several pounds of fertilizer grade ammonium nitrate in a pan. Pour in
enough wood alcohol (methanol) to cover the fertilizer. Then stir it until a
lot of it has dissolved. Next, let it set for a few minutes to allow the
impurities to settle to the bottom along with the undissolved ammonium nitrate.

Another pan is set on some pieces of dry ice for the next step. Dry ice
can be found in the business section of the phone book under "Dry Ice." Locker
companies will sell it to anyone, cheaply and in small amounts.

The dissolved ammonium nitrate is poured into the cold pan. This is done
carefully so as to leave the impurities and undissolved ammonium nitrate
behind.

The dry ice causes the purified ammonium nitrate to precipitate out of the
solution in crystals. When no more crystals are formed they are removed from
the alcohol.

The alcohol is then poured back into the other pan and stirred to dissolve
any ammonium nitrate left undissolved. After setting a few minutes the
solution is again poured off the dregs and the dregs are thrown away. When the
last batch of crystals is removed, the alcohol can be stored and reused.

The dry ice is simply frozen carbon dioxide and its fumes are harmless
unless they are enough to replace the air. Don't handle the dry ice with your
bare hands [unless you are into pulling your skin off to the bone] as its cold
will cause blisters.

In order for pure ammonium nitrate to be detonated by a dynamite cap, it
must be very dry. Spread it out under a heat lamp ir in thte sun. When
completely dry, store it in tightly closed plastic bags.

So you don't know what to do with your ammonium nitrate once you've made
it. You're saying to yourself, "Great! Now I have a chemical that is supposed
to blow things up, but I don't want to destroy anything [ahem?]." Well...

As a special treat for the dopers in the audience and since ammonium
nitrate has been on your mind for a few minutes, you might as well learn how to
make laughing gas from ammonium nitrate.

Laughing gas was one of the earliest anaesthetics. After a little while
of inhaling the gas the patient became so happy [ain't life great?] he couldn't
keep from laughing. Finally he would drift off to a pleasant sleep.

Some do-it-yourselfers have died while taking laughing gas. This is
because they has generated it through plastic bags while their heads were
inside. They were simply suffocating but were too bombed out to realize it.

The trick is to have a plastic clothes bag in which you generate a lot of
the gas. Then you stop generating the gas and hold a small opening of the bag
under your nose, getting plenty of oxygen in the meantime. Then, Whee!

To make it you start with ammonium nitrate bought from a chemical supply
house or which you have purified with 100% rubbing or wood alcohol.

First, dissolve a quantity of ammonium nitrate in some water. Then you
evaporate the water over the stove, while stirring, until you have a heavy
brine. When nearly all the moisture is out it should solidify instantly when a
drop is put on an ice cold metal plate.

When ready, dump it all out on a very cold surface. After a while, break
it up and store it in a bottle.

A spoonful is put into a flask with a one-hole stopper, with a tube
leading into a big plastic bag. The flask is heated with an alcohol lamp.

When the temperature in the flask reaches 480 F the gas will generate. If
white fumes appear the heat should be lowered as the stuff explodes at 600 F.

When the bag is filled, stop the action and get ready to turn on.

The Federation Bureau of Investigation on Saturday, Jan. 30, 1993, raided
"Rusty & Edie's," a computer bulletin board located in Boardman, Ohio,
which has allegedly been illegally distributing copyrighted software
programs. Seized in the raid on the Rusty & Edie's bulletin board were
computers, hard disk drives and telecommunications equipment, as well as
financial and subscriber records. For the past several months, the Software
Publishers Association ("SPA") has been working with the FBI in
investigating the Rusty & Edie's bulletin board, and as part of that
investigation has downloaded numerous copyrighted business and
entertainment programs from the board.

The SPA investigation was initiated following the receipt of complaints
from a number of SPA members that their software was being illegally
distributed on the Rusty & Edie's BBS. The Rusty & Edie's bulletin board
was one of the largest private bulletin boards in the country. It had 124
nodes available to callers and over 14,000 subscribers throughout the
United States and several foreign countries. To date, the board has logged
in excess of 3.4 million phone calls, with new calls coming in at the rate
of over 4,000 per day. It was established in 1987 and had expanded to
include over 19 gigabytes of storage housing over 100,000 files available
to subscribers for downloading. It had paid subscribers throughout the
United States and several foreign countries, including Canada, Luxembourg,
France, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the United
Kingdom.

A computer bulletin board allows personal computer users to access a host
computer by a modem-equipped telephone to exchange information, including
messages, files, and computer programs. The systems operator (Sysop) is
generally responsible for the operation of the bulletin board and
determines who is allowed to access the bulletin board and under what
conditions. For a fee of $89.00 per year, subscribers to the Rusty & Edie's
bulletin board were given access to the board's contents including many
popular copyrighted business and entertainment packages. Subscribers could
"download" or receive these files for use on their own computers without
having to pay the copyrighted owner anything for them.

"The SPA applauds the FBI's action today," said Ilene Rosenthal, general
counsel for the SPA. "This shows that the FBI recognizes the harm that
theft of intellectual property causes to one of the U.S.'s most vibrant
industries. It clearly demonstrates a trend that the government understands
the seriousness of software piracy." The SPA is actively working with the
FBI in the investigation of computer bulletin boards, and similar raids on
other boards are expected shortly. Whether it's copied from a program
purchased at a neighborhood computer store or downloaded from a bulletin
board thousands of miles away, pirated software adds to the cost of
computing. According to the SPA, in 1991, the software industry lost $1.2
billion in the U.S. alone. Losses internationally are several billion
dollars more.

"Many people may not realize that software pirates cause prices to be
higher, in part, to make up for publisher losses from piracy," says Ken
Wasch, executive director of the SPA. In addition, they ruin the
reputation of the hundreds of legitimate bulletin boards that serve an
important function for computer users." The Software Publishers Association
is the principal trade association of the personal computer software
industry. It's over 1,000 members represent the leading publishers in the
business, consumer and education software markets. The SPA has offices in
Washington DC, and Paris, France.

Shotgun shell mine

This was a design used by the Viet Cong in Nam. It's very effective.
You need:

1) Shotgun shell
2) squares of plywood, about 2'x2' and 1/4" thick
1) nail

Dig a hole big enuff for one piece of plywood to fit into. Drive a nail
through the center of one sheet of wood, and put it in the hole, nail
pointing up. Now, fill in dirt around this sheet, until it is mostly covered,
and only the tip of the nail is still exposed. It should still be below
ground level. GENTLY place the shotshell on top of the nail, and fill in dirt
around it, so it is supported on top of the nail, and held in place.
GENTLY place the second sheet of wood on top of the shotshell, and put leaves
and such on top of it.
When someone walks over it, they press the shotshell onto the nail, and it
blows right through the wood, and takes off their leg.

Those requesting the maximum daily withdrawal of 300 pounds were being given 600 pounds and a receipt for 300.

"People were calling their mates up and telling them to get down there," the Hull Daily Mail quoted a passer-by as saying.

After several hours the machine finally ran out of money.

Payzone, a company that administers ATMs, would not comment in detail on the incident but said it appeared one of its machines had malfunctioned.

Police said those who had benefited could face charges but only if the operator complained.

i just wanted to know if there is any possiable way to get acess to other ppl's wireless connections, cuz in my house when i use the laptop to find connection there is a list of ppl with secure connections and a bypass password. and it suck cuz i need to use the internet for work and it gives me like 50 secure connections and 1 or 2 un-secure connections that last about 5 minutes!..it would be great to know this, or at lest send this info to me!..thankz!!

ppl said that he is actually musliam that that he will use all the taxes that goes to the goverment, and give iraq the money so that they can buy more weapons..it does give some ppl concerns but its not that likely. i heard some ppl on the german side say that if he changes any right from white ppl to the black he will cause a race war.
why cant there just be a president that can try and prevent a war by stopping buliting warheads and more weapons against other countries. i have nothing against it the weapons they come out with are pretty hott if you might say..
but i lot of ppl know and think that obama is goingto get assassinated in his 3 day of president thing(i dont really know how to explain it..due to head injuries).., but any how this world is coming to a world war soon.i just hope i die before a nuclear warhead lands in my backyard.

today, America addressed in the news that they shot down a satellite in space that they thought is a threat.they said in my newspapers that it was a american spy satellite and that it went out of control and they counldnt control it.america said that its fuel tank, containing 1,000 pounds of hydrazine, which Pentagon officials say could have posed a health hazard to humans if it had landed in a populated area.

what they didnt say is..

that the satellite was russian and that russia told america not to shoot it down.
international countries did not want america to do this mission because international leaders, who could see it as a thinly disguised attempt to test an anti-satellite weapon — one that could take out other nations' orbiting communications and spy spacecraft.

i remember some thing like this maybe 1-2 yrs. ago when china wanted to test their anti-satellite in case if a war break out.america told china not to launch that missile or america will shoot it down.china agreed!.
now america wanted to test their missile but knew that other countries would disagree, so they picked a object in the sky which came out to be a russian satellite.america came up with an excuse saying that it had toxin fumes that would kill a human or cause injury if it made impact,which if it made impact it would kill in a 2 block radios and then the wind would sweep the toxic out.thats the same excuse america give to Vietnam when they dropped a napalm bomb.america just shouldnt think that it can tell one country not to send a missile but instead send their own cuz they come up with some excuse

How to make a landmine

i don't know if this was posted but here it is-First, you need to get a pushbutton switch. Take the wires of it
and connect one to a nine volt battery connector and the other to
a solar igniter (used for launching model rockets). A very thin
piece of stereo wire will usually do the trick if you are
desperate, but I recommend the igniter. Connect the other wire of
the nine-volt battery to one end of the switch. Connect a wire
from the switch to the other lead on the solar igniter.

Now connect the explosive (pipe bomb, m-80, CO2 bomb, etc.) to the
igniter by attaching the fuse to the igniter (seal it with scotch
tape). Now dig a hole; not too deep but enough to cover all of the
materials. Think about what direction your enemy will be coming from
and plant the switch, but leave the button visible (not TOO
visible!). Plant the explosive about 3-5 feet away from the switch
because there will be a delay in the explosion that depends on how
short your wick is, and, if a homemade wick is being used, its
burning speed. But if you get it right... and your enemy is close
enough......... BBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM! hahahaha

Home-brew blast cannon

This idea was made by my favorite pirate '' jolly roger"
here it is- Materials needed:

-1 plastic drain pipe, 3 feet long, at least 3 1/2 inches in
diameter
-1 smaller plastic pipe, about 6 inches long, 2 inches in
diameter
-1 large lighter, with fluid refills (this gobbles it up!)
-1 pipe cap to fit the large pipe, 1 pipe cap to fit the small
pipe
-5 feet of bellwire
-1 SPST rocker switch
-16v polaroid pot-a-pulse battery
-15v relay (get this at Radio Shack)
-Electrical Tape
-One free afternoon

Procedure:

- Cut the bell wire into three equal pieces, and strip the ends

- Cut a hole in the side of the large pipe, the same diameter as
the small pipe. Thread the hole and one end of the small pipe.
they should screw together easily.

- Take a piece of scrap metal, and bend it into an "L" shape,
then attach it to the level on the lighter:

Now, every time you pull the 'trigger' gas should flow freely from
the lighter. You may need to enlarge the 'gas port' on your
lighter, if you wish to be able to fire more rapidly.

- Connect two wires to the two posts on the switch

- Cut two holes in the side of the smaller tube, one for the
switch on the bottom, and one for the metal piece on the top.
Then, mount the switch in the bottom, running the wires up and out
of the top.

- Mount the lighter/trigger in the top. Now the switch should
rock easily, and the trigger should cause the lighter to pour out
gas. Re-screw the smaller tube into the larger one, hold down the
trigger a bit, let it go, and throw a match in there. If all goes
well, you should hear a nice big 'THUD!'

- Get a hold of the relay, and take off the top.

Connect (1) to one of the wires coming from the switch. Connect
(2) to (4), and connect (5) to one side of the battery. Connect
the remaining wire from the switch to the other side of the
battery. Now you should be able to get the relay to make a little
'buzzing' sound when you flip the switch and you should see some
tiny little sparks.

- Now, carefully mount the relay on the inside of the large pipe,
towards the back. Screw on the smaller pipe, tape the battery to
the side of the cannon barrel (yes, but looks aren't everything!)

- You should now be able to let a little gas into the barrel and
set it off by flipping the switch.

- Put the cap on the back end of the large pipe VERY SECURELY.
You are now ready for the first trial-run!

To Test:

Put something very, very large into the barrel, just so that it
fits 'just right'. Now, find a strong guy (the recoil will
probably knock you on your ass if you aren't careful!). Put on a
shoulderpad, earmuffs, and possibly some other protective clothing
(trust the Jolly Roger! You are going to need it!). Hold the
trigger down for 30 seconds, hold on tight, and hit the switch.
With luck and the proper adjustments, you should be able to put a
frozed orange through 1/4 or plywood at 25 feet.

i havn't tried this , but its on my to do list!
