I desolved the NC in as little acetone as i could ( maby 1/2-3/4c) and used just enought to make it moist enought that it shined when pressed, but still a dry comp. I rolled the stars by hand, into even sized balls. (got a few dozen made with 100g batch) I tested some of the leftover dried comp, and wow, im not to sure about gold (looked red to me) but it was beautiful, tiny sparks the floated and seemed to have a mind of there own.

For starters, this is not met to be here as an advertising thread. this is where to find quality chemicals, at low prices.

In the recent months, I have found a few trust worthy sites for buying chemicals on, they include Hobbychemicalsupply.com, (my favorite) Skylighter.com. I have also found ebay a good source also (some times)

So if you know of any sites, list them, post reviews, and what ever else you want people to know.

I need help on finding a Polymer binder and a epoxy curing agent for my solid rocket fuel. The formula I have is:

69.6% Ammonium perchlorate
16.0% Aluminum
12.4% Polymer binder
2.0% Epoxy curing agent
0.4% Iron oxide Combustion catalyst (Thermite reaction with aluminum)

I've added it up, and yes i did realize that it adds up to be 100.4%

so if anyone could help on this subject, it would be greatly appreciated.
