This stuff burns hot, obviously. I have no real desire to use these inside but figured it'd be pretty cool to devise some kind of cheap "cannister" to house the compound in which would allow it to be thrown onto anything without causing a fire.

Since you won't need much to get a fair bit of smoke indoors I figure loading it into some kind of tubing with some kind of fire resistant gel or matting housed inside it.

The attached picture has the "design" I am considering currently. My experience with this compound is limited so I'd like the views of the members here.

The picture is not to scale, not even close. I drew it in paint. The black cylinder is the compound, the red thing is my countdown timer.

I am unsure on piping to use but I'll pop down to my local hardware store when I get a chance and have a look at what heat resistant pipes they have. How much heat do these produce? I've only done them on dirt and a road, it ***ted the road a bit but considering my road ***ts on a hot summers day that doesn't really give me anything.

New here. Made a bit of Acetone Peroxide. Mildly impressive.

Anyway, I know explosives are loud because... Well, they are explosives.

I'm only wanting to blow away chunks roughly the size of an ipod in 1'' wood - I experimented with drilling a hole in the wood and placing AP in it then blowing it but it was still far too loud and didn't have the desired effect.
