Great. Here's how to do it:

I. Preparation

1. Gear:
Water (at least a bottle per person. Adjust in accordance with the length of the mission.)
Flashlight with a red tint cap (red is not nearly as bright, it matches the color of the inside of the eye-lid, and you can still see)
Knife (this is your best friend. Choose one that is light, fits well in your hand, and doesn't shine.)
Cell phone (if the shit hits the fan, call for a ride)

2. Clothes:
Dark, matching clothing (not black. You cut a hole in the night. Dark green is fine.)
Something with a hood (not required, but cuts down your profile in my experience)
Three pair of dark socks (once inside, you're going to take off your shoes. The three pair allow you to be quiet inside, but be able to evac should you have to.)
Something with pockets (for loot. Pockets are a lot less noisier than a bookbag or something as such.)
Gloves (O.J. gloves, I mean)

3. Scouting:
Go during the day and write down everything you can. Later on, you may need to use this information to coordinate your plan should you bring along others.

II. The Op

1. If you're alone:
The main goal of the op if you're alone is to not get caught. Loot/humiliation comes second. Always. That said, it's best to get in and get out as fast as possible. Find a way in (if need be, use your knife on a window or something), TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES, and get your loot, using your flashlight. Then, grab your shoes and go out, put your shoes back on, and leave. Like you were never there.

2. If you're with a team:
The main goal this time is to get the loot. Beforehand, agree that, should something happen, you split up. Separate your team as follows:
a lookout
one or more people doing the op
one person waiting with a way to get out
If you follow that, there shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise, follow as in section 1.

3. If you are spotted:
DON'T PANIC. However, adrenaline is good. If you're by yourself, drop everything and leave as quickly as possible. It could just be that someone heard something. In that case, be quiet, but be moving away from the situation. However, if a light turns on and somebody's walking down the stairs, brute force your way out of there. If you have to dive through a window, do it (however, I would suggest going through the door). Hiding is not an option. You MUST be moving. If you're in a group, you should already have an exit strategy. It should involve splitting up and either a) getting to the "Bat-mobile" or b) getting the fuck out of there by any means necessary.

III. After the Op
Meet up. Split the loot. Be merry.

~Saj

EDIT: Let me make this clear. There is no full-proof way to successfully get away with a heist. Using this very same method I was chased by a police department in Georgia (I was on vacation) for four hours through the woods before my buddies and I could make it home. A combination of luck and woodland savvy on my buddy's account saved us from felony charges.

First off, let me affirm that time travel does not and cannot...

We seem to be having a failure to communicate on this whole "Time Travel" topic.

First off, let me affirm that time travel does not and cannot exist. Ever. I'm sorry to say this, but Doc Brown lied to you. Now here's why:

Say you could go to the past. You change something and then come back. When you came back you saw that you were living in an entirely different world because of that one event. However, in a parallel ti***ine that you created, life was just as you left it. THAT IS A PARADOX AND PARADOXES AREN'T TRUE.

Ahem.

Say you could go to the future. You change something and then come back. But oh wait. You can't go back because of what I just explained. So you stay there. But oh wait. That means that there's a gap in time where you don't exist. THAT IS A PARADOX AND PARADOXES AREN'T TRUE.

Ahem.

What I'm saying is time travels in one direction at a constant speed (if there is such a thing). Each event in time is predestined by the event before it. That is causality. Fuck with that, and you fuck up the time/space continuum and all reality is destroyed. But I'm not worried because you can't fuck up the time/space continuum because, again, time travels in one direction at a constant speed.

Whew.

Now that that's over, let's move on to Time LOOKING.

Eintein speculated that a person could, using causality as a basis on which to predict future events, see into the future. I'm not going to go into too much depth because I'm wicked tired, but just know that he did.

Since each event is predestined by the event before it, once said person looks into the future, that event, no matter what it is, is going to happen. It cannot happen any other way, because he/she saw it was going to happen. Again, if you want more explanation as to why, you're going to have to wait until tomorrow.

Okay, I'm going to bed. That's something for you to ponder, argue, debate, flame about.

Microsoft is really dumb. You know why? Because they host their latest and greatest operating system on a site that they don't own. And when the time comes when the links to the files are leaked, they can't do a damn thing. And guess what? They've been leaked. Below are the three exact files that you would get if you paid for them from Microsoft. But guess what? They're free:

http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent....86/install.wim

http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent..../i386/boot.wim

http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent..../X13-49120.exe

Now, it's a long and gruelling process to get your copy of Vista, but it's well worth it. Here are the steps:

To upgrade from a previous copy of Windows:
1. Download all three files (mind you, the first file is 2.3 GIGABYTES (that's with a *G* and so it takes a while) into your root drive (usually C:\).
2. Run "X13-49120.exe" and you'll get a folder called "Vista."
3. Follow the instructions.

To install fresh:
1. Do steps one and two.
2. Exit the setup that will pop up.
3. Get a free ISO compiler (the internet is fraught with them).
4. Compile all of the files in the folder "Vista" into an ISO file.
5. Burn that image onto a DVD (it will *NOT* fit on a CD).
6. Reboot.
7. Follow the instructions.

Okay, now you're probably wondering, "But Saj, there are several versions of Vista! Which one is this?" And I answer you: ALL OF THEM. Microsoft made yet *another* mistake by putting all of the versions of Vista onto the same set of files. It will ask you which one you "bought." You pick which one depending on your computer and your wants/needs. I recommend either Ultimate or Home Premium.

Once you've chosen which one, you'll see a place where it says to put your serial number. But guess what? You don't have one. HOWEVER! You *do* have a serial number cracker that you will run *after* you install Vista that works for any version you choose. And here it is:

http://upload2.net/page/download/tbo...vator.zip.html

I just did this for the third time and it took me a little over four hours in all. But, my predicament was probably unlike anything y'all'll encounter.

Wow, it's been a while since I've made a thread :P.

While there is a "Weapons Info" thread, it only discusses larger firearms, such as assault rifles and carbines. This thread is to discuss smaller firearms, such as pistols and revolvers.

I know little-to-nothing about large firearms, but I do know quite a bit about side arms. Please select your favorite side arm from the list (or you can state one that's not above). If you have questions and I can't answer them, I'm sure PowerstrokeSS will be willing to help .

You may notice that there is somewhat of a hodgepodge of makers, models, calibres, etc., but I wanted to have a wide variety of stuff. I realize that a lot of older firearms should have a place up there, but a lot of them (and, indeed, some of my favorites) are now only in collector's hands. The above are some of my favorites.

While I like smaller guns, my favorite side arm is the Glock 17 Standard. It's comfortable, light, extre***y reliable, and an all-around good self-defense firearm. I lied before. My favorite is not the 17S, but a variant: the 26S. It's all the goodness of the 17, but in a *very* small package. The reason I didn't put it up there is because the Glock 17 is the most iconic model and therefore more people would recognize it.

If I seem to be scattered I apologize. This is a HUGE topic and I'm trying to give you a taste of everything.

What are your favorites?

I like Descartes. His rationale on what is "fact" is quite mind-blowing. The only thing you can be certain about is that you are a thinking thing. Other than that, you must use reason. Quite cool.

I just wanted to hear your thoughts, and why.

You might laugh at me, but I chose oligarchy. Why? Because it creates a stable and running government, where people always know who's in charge. It simplifies life, allowing people to focus more on their careers, families, etc. No bickering about who's in charge, because it's always the same people in charge.
Do I really believe that? No. But I think it throws a twist in the everyday "Democracy" or "Communism" debates. It's definately an interesting type of government.

Well I saw it mentioned in the election thread, and I thought it was good for debate. So, what do you think?

I think that, if combined with electronic ballots, abolition of the electoral college would be disastrous. This is because the outcome of our presidential election could go to the highest bidder if both of these things were decided upon.

The electoral college was created to battle dumb people. Today, there are even *more* dumb people.

1. How do you hack Myspace passwords?
Make an identical page to the Myspace homepage, where it says "You must be logged in to do that!" When they click submit, have it redirect to the real Myspace page, while sending their inputted information to your email address. Have the redirect page on its own site and mask the URL in coding. Send a bulletin out with the link and make up some bullshit on what it is (like "OMG new pics!). And there you have it.

2. How do you hack vending machines?
With a hammer.

3. How do I ruin someone's computer?
a) With physical access:
i) take away the harddrive; or
ii) beat it up; or
iii) reformat their harddrive
That should be sufficient.
b) Without physical access:
i) get physical access; or
ii) create a virus and attach it through an email; or
iii) report bad behavior to their ISP
These all work.
