no not really,,i look at the word pot as the common slang word for marijuana. if a parent were to say "pot" i would think it would sound out of place.

i do find it a bit annoying, i never call it that

god i hate that word."pot" it is pretty fuckin annoying when i hear people use it.i tend to just call it weed or smoke or whatever.but i fuckin hate that word.

i dont think its the word that pisses me off, its the way someone saus it, like when a cop says "marijuana" or like "have you been smokin' THE POT" that always gets me.
