Me and my friend have been smoking a bit lately out of soda cans for the past two days and I'm getting kinda worried about the aluminum, since when we were burning the bud and it was out the can was still burning so I baisically just kept inhaling, does anyone really believe it causes poisioning and alzheimers etc.?

Yes, it's bad. Also, metal shards in your lungs isn't the best thing to have.

Not to mention the first hit is packed full of paint from the can. Bad idea.

i do it sometimes, but i hate using aluminum cans or foil... i mostly use wood or stone sometimes... idk, i think my one hitter is aluminum though...

There have been a number of studies showing that aluminium and it's salts are severely detrimental to the brain, and have a tendency to tangle things that shouldn't be, and untangle things that should be, especially those proteins and prions involved in causing alzheimers.

A more recent study has shown that smoking from aluminium pipes and products might not be harmful (though copper most certainly is) however the evidence remains that aluminium in general fucks you up. So, jut to be on the safe side, avoid it.
