i have some Psilocybe tampanensis sclerotia (Philosopher's Stone mushrooms)
growing around my property in the fall
and they say that its very different from other mushrooms, and that its only been found naturally in the wild 4 times.

so if i was to sell this stuff how much do you people think i should price them for?

umm bud r u 100% sure that u have them and not some thing that just looks like it. there are sooooo many diffrent kinds of mushrooms out there its eazy 2 mistake them for something that its not. im just sayin this bec u dont wana sell some1 something awesome that ends up killing them because it wasn't what u thought it was
and if its only been found 4time ever and u have some dont just sell um...make a farm them sell them for a shit load then be rolling in money

well in that case nice fuckin find man just make sure 2 keep growing um so u can make huge money. if there that rare then if u sell um all then ur toatly fucked incase u become the 5th find in history lol

Mushrooms are my thing. Nice find, I grew a lot of them but then they started to die... Does it have spored or gills? And do you know how to do a sporeprint?

i dont know about the spored or gills thing
but i do know how to take sporeprints

i just need to go out and get the stuff for it.

but the problem is that with the Psilocybe tampanensis sclerotia mushrooms, i dont know were the spores are. i cant find any gills in them.

Look at my post on your other thread. Spores is when the underside of the mushroom cap has like, a sponge. Gills is when there are lines (gills!).

ok, im pretty sure that it has Spores then.

A have a few questions to confirm what it is... Do they actually appear to be ugly* (vs. let's say, the Fly Agaric Amanita)? Do they grow in groups or alone?

* This is a picture of a HARVESTED one, so it may have been grown in agar.

thats how i found out in the first place that i had Psilocybe tampanensis sclerotia growing on my property. i look it up on erowid. and yeah, there pretty ugly, and they grew alone, and on one ocasion they were growing in a group.
