a long time no see us
well ill go to the grain i am attemping an experiment to extract (not synth) n,nDMT from the mimosa hostilis
you need (well...i used):
20g or + mimosa hostilis root bark
1 lt of isopropil alcohol
some glass bottles
muriatic acid or hcl (same thing)
amonia
a filter or somthing that works like it in a funnel
blender or mortar,molcajete (mex)
petri dishes ,glass plate,cookie tray (to evaporate)
no flame heat sourse (no more than 50ºC)

1 grind the mimosa h.
2 put it in isopropil alcohol for a nigth and filter it ...reserve in a botle
3 make 3 extractions like this and mix them and filter
4 add muriatic acid to the liquid (1/10) (to get clorohidrate) and then wait an hour or two
5 add amonia and shake the solution will separate in two fases one clear and other like mud let it sit for 5 hours
6 filter in a good filter 3 times or until you get a clear solution sligtly yelowish
and keep in a botte until yu are ready to evaporate the alcohol
7 in a tray,plate put thwe liquid and let evaporate over a heat sourse (i used a flourecent lamp ballast of my indoor grow)
8 a salt will form when it is totally dried it will contain:amonium cloride and DMT so the amonia cloride is not soloble in isopropil alc. then add alcohol and mix,
filter it (you can keep the cloride) and evaporate the alc yn a new tray or a glass tray if there is dmt cristals will star to form while it evaporates slowly

thats what i made untill now and i think that i can purify the dmt (in case that
it worked) to be sure that it is dmt free base (smokeable) and send it to analize
i will show results when i get them

i kinda abandoned my goals of getting dmt anytime soon..... sounds like a huge pain in the ass. hope you suceed though, that doesn't sound too complicated.
