Today while I was outside I hear a quite plane over me and I look up and its fairly low to the ground? It didn't have propellers. I'm just wondering if thats an infrared plane (those are the ones that take lots of pictures of places, correct?) would it be wise to grow outdoor weed?

I think it depends where you are if youy in the woods and keep them aparta little bit they wont give off the heat sensors and all that shit but if your in town you also have to worry about shitty neighbors and how much electricity your using put som serious thought in to

I have very thick woods I'm just gunna de-weed 1x1foot sections randomly in the woods off my property to have a few places to grow. I think if the plane sees them in the woods officers of some sort probably just come and confiscate it.

They won't see a little bit of weed growing unless you got some big set up with lots of grow lights. Or like acres of weed....
The infrared planes fly by and look for the heat from grow lights, they don't usually look for weed plants.

The thing is, don't leave a pattern of where the patches are, because then if someone finds one patch, they will most likely find the rest.

but when I start growing, I'm growing on a property that is family owned and is 250 acres, so if I plant it deep into the 250 acres then no one will find it.

I wont have any patterns it will be completely random. Spaced like an acre or so away from each other.

those big infrared planes are looking for meth labs and stuff like that, not for pot growers, no one cares about pot growers.. pot is the weakest illegal drug out there, and most definitley the safest... but yeah, unless you have a magical forest of marijuana like on rolling kansas, i dont think you will get caught... why not just set up a greenhouse inside of a barn or pole building?
