Hey, when i usually take a hit on a bong or a pipe with weed & or tobacco it burns the back of my throat, is there anyway in which i can prevent this ? any help much appreiciated.

make sure you water is clean, as far as a bong goes. also consider using cold water, and in my bong - for exmple - i have ice nothces and usually put about 30 pieces of ice in it.

now as far as the pipe goes, not much you can do other then if you have a curl in it, like one of mine does, then you can put a bit of water in the curl to help cool it but it really isn't enough water to do shit. it just makes a bubbling sound (w00t to actuall bubblers) which i find relaxing hahaha

or maybe put piece of ice in your mouth while you toke? hahaha

Take smaller hits?

take some hospital strength cough drops or drink nyquil or if its realy bad burning feeling because you smoke alot ... use Oragel and try and get it in the back of your throat , i take a little mix it with water and drink it but hold it in th e back of my throat

for the pipe. take the hit but dont inhale, just hold it for a bit and then inhale i clean breath

melted it a bit and then shoved a pen like that http://www.4imprint.co.uk/imageserve...led/300569.jpg in it. has a small bowl but it decreases the amoun t of smoke that gets wasted through the mouth piece.
