Ginseng is one of the natural ingredients in energy drinks. It is a natural anti oxidant and is actually good for your body. BUT, the other chemicals are not good for you. That is why i drink Green Tea (Hot) with ginseng. It gives you almost a high/chill feeling thats great for thinking and relaxing. With some honey and sugar its delicious too. Box of 20 tea bags at Aldi's for 99 cents.

guarana is in most, and taurine

you could probably skip the guarana if you got a bunch of caffeine though

Anyone noticed how they stopped advertising energy drinks to people who work and stuff (as much) and started to direct the ads towards gamers?

i like to drink Gatorade when i game and would fucking love if they made a energy drink Gatorade.
Guarana just naturaly has caffene in it. also watch out with the taurine, in test on lab rats the began to self mutilate.

I think its cause people who play games will consume to excess easier to a worker, making them more money. Also you have to remember they are trying to compete with Coffee wich totally dominates the worker class

No, good advertising. Lol. People that exercise are going to drink stuff to give them energy, but chances are it'll be gatorade or something because it's not a sudden burst of energy and then a sudden decrease. Gamers on the other hand stock up on energy drinks so they can stay awake for 4 days straight.

It could also have somthing to do with the "Trendyness" of energy drinks- Look at the cans, they're very trendy looking, 20yr olds have discovered Vodka And Red-Bull. They aren't really aimed at the original market, and young people eat this shit up (Terrible Pun).
