there are 2 types of mushrooms that grow around my property in the fall. one of them really looks like one of those red Amanitas, but it doesn’t have any white warts on them, and as far as i know Amanita phalloides (Death Cap),
and Amanita verna (Destroying Angels) are the only poisonous look alikes, and they dont even look like common Amanitas.

so would you say that its ok to try out these red mushrooms, or do you know that they are poisonous?

u might wana try 2 track some 1 down who is a expert on mushrooms before u go eating 1s that might turn out 2 kill u.

i know. there use to be some very good people in that area of expertise that would log on to here all the time, and i was just going to wait until some one like that came along.
i would never try this stuff with out a definite answer. but out of all the stuff i know about mushrooms, i don’t think it will be poisonous, but I’ll still wait.

As I meantioned before... One of my hobbies is mushroom identifying. If you could take three pictures of it, It would be helpful. One of the top, one of the whole thing, and one of its gill or spores. But since it's not fall yet you'll have to describe it.



Fast Fact: It's called the Fly Agaric because people used to mix it in milk so when the flies drank it, it stupifies them... You'll notice the difference of this mushroom and most other. It has no significent hallucenations, it's mainly calm and and you feel like you know more than you did before. It's also the only Amanita that will do anything.
