Catnip mixed with tobacco is said to increase the effects of nicotine, so it doesn't said too far fetched. Still, I wouldn't do it.

My friend smoked straight up catnip out of boredom.

Catnip has certain active ingredients that actually can get you high in large doses... If you mix weed with it, it may enable you to get a slightly better high, so it IS worth a shot... Plus, catnip is a plant in the mint family so I think it'll taste good.

You cant get high off catnip. I used to front sacks of catnip + other kitchen herbs to dumbass kids who dont know what weed is.
