punk was created because of overly long experimental music, and the actual punk movement hated such shit.....hence the fast, short to the point songs.... it was the answer to what current pop music of the time was (bands like pink floyd)

i think it was henry rollins who said that about the whole punk scene in general and they would probably agree with most of what i said....why do you think black flag broke up anyway?....or most of the punk bands for that matter

and the dead kennedys are a bunch of morons, the only member of that band i respect is jello (who is no longer a member of that band)........shit listen to the song "chickenshit conformist" by the dead kennedys, it's all right there motherfuckers.
