yeah i really beleive he shouldn't be in jail. when he killed euronymous it was out of self defense.

it was, but even he admits that he went over the legal definition of self defense when he stabbed the guy through the head when he really no longer needed to defend himself (but by doing so he was preventing further retailition which probably would have taken place, but the law frowns upon "a premptive strike" as i think he put it). he didn't mind going to prison, but it shouldn't have been for as long ( he got more than the max sentence for that crime which is bullshit, and the charges about the church burnings shouldn't have stood up in court). he would probably have a good chance at parole if he didn't try to escape already...

Finntroll seems more like blackened folk, if you want to be an elitist about it, but I love Troll Hammaren and songs like that, Finntroll is boss.

That's great that you mentioned Arsis, though, one of my all time favorite bands, though not many people listen anymore.

Once I've thought about it, I'm actually kind of glad BM is becoming an even smaller genre, hopefully this will keep things that much more trve 'n kvlt.

Not a huge Black Metal fan but I used to be in a Black Metal band. Only ever made 2 songs and they were shit.

I do like Burzum and Mayhem though.
