Is it just me, or.... Does the setting of Fallout 3 make you wonder about america's future?? (nuclear war/ middle east threat??)

Sort of....but I don't really think that anything like that will happen.

Anyway, the setting of Fallout is based upon a bad turn in a past war. Everything just turned to hell after that, obviously lol!! So it's on a different timeline entirely.

Well, even if something bad like that ever will happen, we will pull out of it.......hopefullly...

I think everyone who's played that game would wonder about the threat of nuclear war...

i live in the middle of nowhere so i wouldn't be affected directly so it's not as big a deal for me. and i'd gladly trade the lives of you big city folk for a plasma rifle haha

hmm....does that mean that if that bad event happened, children everywhere in the alternate timeline which caused fallout 3 to happen would be playing something along the lines of the iraq war, exactly as it is in our timeline, or something like that? or would they not even be at war, just playing a game where they sit at home peacefully.....and rant about how they hate the government all day...

I don't think the alternate timeline has video games... except maybe pong
