If you have windows xp,

you can open Windows Movie Maker (In Start menu,
then accessories, but it might not be in accessories...) and you can
click, "Record Narration" which is just a button that is shaped like a
microphone, and then when that screen loads, click, "Show More Options"
then go to the box that says, "Audio Input source" then go to "Stereo Mix" and it'll record anything that is heard from the speakers! So, you can go to myspace or youtube or whatever and listen to music and record via Movie Maker...

It probably sounds really tricky and confusing if you aren't computer literate...but it helps a shit ton if you do it
