Can anyone tell me an easy way to crack Administrator password in Vista? I can login as a guest w/out privileges. Ophcrack does not work, I already tried. I don't want to use a visible keylogger either. I only want to give myself Administrator privelges in Guest log in

I am quite sure that you hack Windows Vistas administrative password the same way that you do for Windows XP's administrative password login!

I'm not that computer literate, if anyone can give me more details please. I don't even know what SAM means. Like I said, I only have guest privelages. I tried opcrack & if u go to ophcracks site u will read that it take a real guru to use this for Vista because of thrashes?

As promised I will tell you something that I learned from this very site which helped me a ton and for which I am immensely grateful! Turn on your computer and press F8 ( it helps to do this repeatedly)! After you press F8 your computer should bring up some options one of which hopefully will be to start windows in safe mode click on the TOP administrator icon(hopefully there in not a password on this)! If there is not then go into your control panel and then go into user accounts and there you should be able to change the other administrative password! To put some strength behind this then after you change the administrative password restart you computer and then when something first comes up press F10 and go into CMOS and change the CMOS password!

Hey Massiggyman this worked for me! You don't have to set the passwords when you first load X.P.!
I had to reload X.P. not too long ago so I think I should know!
