so my school has this proxy, port, and general packet filtering and blocking server/software, known as deep nines, it's annoying, it blocks our proxy's, aim, etc. and it was apparently an extreme investment on my schools part. well kids were trying every thing they could to get around it, tunnel, socks ports, etc. well nothing was working it always got blocked, so i decided it would ARP poison it and wait and watch how it works find some passwords out. i found out the school network ***** password. i then used this password to go in and change everyone's default wallpaper to picture of 2girls 1 cup. WIN then i shut down deep nines, and deleted it's proxy block and port block list. freedom was had through out the school

lol... he's an idiot for two reasons, the belief that any authentication scheme other than http and a few others would be cleartext. no client/server exchange scheme would use cleartext. deleting the software lists wouldn't give freedom as im pretty sure deepnine,deepfreeze,loadlock,virtualsession, all use private dns servers. and the security level is set server side on the dns redirection side. security developers weren't born yesterday.

i guess this is kinda the same thing but one of my buds hacked our school server with his iPhone and screwed around with the wallpapers and grades and deleted a few kids entirely from the system aha
