fixed blades are by far the best, they have alot of penetrating power, try stabbing a balisong through someones chest plate. Probably will never happen, but with a big ass fixed blade of any kind, you can go in deep.

Well how general can a poll get?

What is the knife being used for? I have favorites for deco, foreplay, self defense, hunting, filleting, cooking... etc... It just depends on what I am doing really. I have a lock blade with a multi function blade that I carry for carving my name in stuff. I also have a heavy duty triple knife that I carry for security. I have a dual blade smith and wesson that while it isn't the most durable knife it is a great conversational piece.

that was why the poll was so general...

most people have different knives they use for different shit

like my swiss army lockback is my default drinking knife due to the bottle opener, my cheap ass butterfly knife is what i'd take to something like a concert or whatever if i felt i needed it cause i could ditch it and not care (if there was metal detectors or whatever), then i got my tactical lockback for everyday carry and my buck 110 for camping

The only tool I've ever owned that I can't fuck up without serious and deliberate effort.

Bigass handle, good edge, lanyard ring, solid rubber handle, nice sheath, very solid.

Yeah, it's rock-solid; I think they molded it directly onto the tang.

Plus, I've got pretty big hands, so that long grip is really helpful.
