I just got a letter from charter (my isp) saying that they suspect me of copyright infringement for downloading "flushed away" (for my lil siblings) while i was using Azureus and Thepiratebay... has anyone else got a letter from ANYONE about downloading movies and programs illegally? is there anyway to get around that?

back up all ur illegal programs clear out ur pc and make sure u no some 1 that has a real copy borrow that buff it and upload it asap every were u can

you have nothing to worry about, teh simplest thing to do is call your isp and complain to them that you're recieving scare letters which should not be sent, as it displays untrue statements, and you may have to sue if they continue....

ive had people tell me their isp terminated service and when they called, said they had a virus that was effecting their computers, these people knew what they were doing and said "that's not possible", and the isp got upset and had to turn back on their service......isp's will lie if they think the customer will believe it....
