well i used to carve into my arm and just as crazyassmedal head said it got to the point that people would like question if i was suisidal. eventually i just got the whole thing tattooed.... and as to kasina your thinking of the old tattoos new ones are no where near the same, while yes with time they will fade a little bit but after a few recolorings they really stick... and as far as the ink spreading out it doesnt dew it any more, thats why they alwasy do the outline first, your skin can get all stretchy and that will look like shit but im sure this would have the same effects

I guess it is kind of gross but i agree with kasina and 51L3NC3. If you can take the pain then yeah, it would be pretty cool. I dunno why lots of people hate scars too lol. I like them =P.

Nah, dude, they will still spread. It might take longer, but they will. I heard a damn good tattoo artist say this about a couple/few months ago. He was talking to one of his customers about the "cons" of getting a tattoo. Yes, you can get it touched up and it will look great, but you won't have to get any touch ups with the scarification.

But with tattoos yeah, if you want it to continue to look nice you have to get touchups but with carving, you have that pain and scabbing and healing for months if not a year due to how deep they would have to cut. Plus think of it this way, some people think it is such a great idea to get a tattoo and then cover it up with a different one because they don't want the original anymore... how would you cover up a scar like that?
