So apparantly, in history, whenever things get too great, people become to power hungry, etc, they are destroyed. Atlantis, Sodom and Gomorrah, the list goes on. SO! Can the same be said about this site? It seems like this site will do so well for some time, and then once we get too many people, people get too cocky, power hungry and whatnot, the site is destroyed, in a sense. The site is deleted or everyone's banned. But it seems like whenever that happens we all come out stronger or better and we all get along for a while.

he was already unbanned by a certain mod who i shan't mention the name of, so he's free to come back. however in his most recent post as 'cognito' he mentioned that it's now time for him to move on. or something to that effect

I didn't mean for him to come back and just be on the site. I meant him coming back and basically destroying/deleting the site. That way we can basically "start over" because that seems to be the only time that most of us get along.

You all aren't getting the point of what I'm saying. Every good thing must come to an end. 'Atlantis' was destroyed because it was so great, and because it was so great people let it get to their heads. There are many instances in history where something huge is destroyed because it needs to rebuild. ALSO! I was pissed off at the time I wrote this because of the same thing I ranted about before: people are getting way too cocky when they have no reason to be, they're being assholes for no reason, and shit was just getting ridiculous. I'd considered quitting the site not too long ago, but I'm not as active on it as I was then so I don't have to deal with it as much now. Thus, no quitting for me.
