That's a NOVA not a chevelle, and it's a '73 or later.

but we kept the "Rock Crusher" Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission.
The rock crusher is a four-speed manual, the turbo 400 is a 3-speed auto. So wich one do you have?

Feel free to google.

well the vin #'s say it a chevelle, but they could be wrong.

P.S. not all of the parts on the car are from the same car, I think the grill, back bumper, and some other things are from a nova.

The car is a well constructed hodgepodge of miscellaneous parts from many cars.

It has some nova parts some camaro parts and some chevelle parts, I think it even has a corvette part or two, but it's frame is that of a chevelle, and it all Chevy.

This should explain everything--I think?

http://www.collectorcarmarket.com/co...e_ss_70-72.htm

The chassis, original engine (396ci-V8), and transmission are that of a Chevelle but most of the body is a Nova--like I said before, the car is a combination of many different cars. It would take too much time to list all the parts I used that are not from a Chevelle or nova, seeing as it is now a 4x4 instead of a 2x4. I consider it a 72 chevelle, since that is what the majority of the car is comprised of. I really don't care what it is because I call it Big Nasty

My best race was against an 04' Neon SRT4 i think. He beat me off the line for about twelve feet then my turbos pushed my truck straight past him, this was before I put stacks on, the poor neon had a black soot line down the side. My latest was some car with an SR20 engine, which gave a good fight but I beat him off the line and he caught up but it was too late, plus after that we kept going, he topped at 112, i hit 130 something, i was chickenshit to look because shit flys at that speed
If you had that kind of setup, that SRT-4 would not have the first few gears on you, also, why you racing in a 2 tonne truck?

I did, but I can't remember the make/model of all the parts that I put into it; I do know for certain that the majority of the parts are that of a chevelle and a nova. It really doesn't matter anyway because I already sold it.
