How about this:

If you are christian say: Merry christmas
If you are jewish say: Happy Hanukkah
ect.
If you are atheist, say: what ever the fuck you want.

The only things that "political correctness" has done is limited the english language, changed phrases that were not offensive to become offensive, and started to piss people off.

well, I mean, people shouldn't have to stop saying "merry christmas" just because someone in that area might feel "offended" and I think it's retarded. ya know?

& to everyone else: not only Christians celebrate Christmas.

Yeah, I know. I totally agree with you. It's stupid to have to limit what you say. But thanks to a certain select group that gets all pissy when someone barely offends them, we have to 'watch' what we say. Basically it's one of those "one person ruins it for everyone" scenarios.

i agree. It's called freedom of speech take that away and what is this country? nothing. the united states was created in the vision of freedom and yet i see the public having less and less every day. ha ha ha if i walk up and down the streets saying happy hanukkah no one gets mad at all but if i say merry christmas i get the most filthy looks and occasionally yelled at. may i ask what the hell is up with that? if you celebrate christmas then wish people a happy one if they get mad well that's too bad unless we all start wearing lil signs around our necks saying "i'm Christian" or "i'm Jewish" or "i'm Muslim" and what not i really don't think we have the space to complain they say happy Hanukkah you say christmas whoop dee doo deal with it!
