Well, it says "When we call you..." Blah blah blah, the guy who wrote this is a whiner. He's basically saying "If you say racial things about us, let us say it about you. When it should really be, there should be NO racial slurs. And, honestly, I hear the N word way more than any other slur.

You have entirely missed the point of this post, and have so far only dragged it through the mud only because you have apparently never experienced what the original composer of this email was trying to explain. I admit you do have a valid point in that there should be no racism, but the likelihood of this happening in our lifetime is slim and none; however, I am not saying that is an impossibility, just highly improbable because our country's past is what is holding us back, and some people just can let the past, the bad parts, die.
I have one more thing to say about racism regarding your post; have you ever been called, just to name a few, white chicken shit, or cousin fucker; I have and you know what I was offended by that, somewhat, but I didn't call him a nigger because I honestly believed that was what he wanted, and I wasn't going to give him the pleasure.

No, I would be offended if there was a white history month.
It is important to remember all the people of the civil rights moment, but I think that having a month of history where you really don't do anything is pathetic.
Basically, Black history is history. It's my history as a white woman, because it's American history. Fuck having it for a month. I see this only as a barrier to ending racism in America. Why are we calling people "black" and "white" etc, we're people, history is history.

I can think many people that contributed far more to the building of this nation that get hardly any recognition at all, and yes they are mostly white, but there are some blacks also. Their stories are left on the shelves collecting dust while these other people get the praise when it would not have been possible without the help from the people who have been lost to history. I am not saying that we should have a white history month per-say, but I am saying that if we are going to recognize people for their historical contributions we should include all the contributors not just the mainstream ones.

I applaud you,

you are the only person besides LNT-5265F that has actually understood the real meaning of this post. The rest of you are seeing the words, but missing the point. The point is not to promote racism, but instead to show that racism is not predominantly white because even white people, or to be more politically correct "Caucasoids," can be the butt of many a racist joke, and it is not labeled as racist because of it being about white people.

I have been to Mississippi, and I know what you mean. Mississippi is about the most backward place in America when it comes to racism; however, there are some places in Alabama that are running a close second, but they wont even hold a flame to the racism in Mississippi.
