I believe as I've hinted to on another thread that, life after death works in one of two ways, which are: 1. You put your faith in Jesus and trust him as your lord and savior, which gets you into heaven. OR:
2. You reject him, and put him out of your life, which unfortunately means you go to hell.

My beliefs: I think that IF there is an afterlife, and you are a good person in this life, then you will go to a good afterlife (a sort of Heaven, but you don't have to believe in Jesus or any higher power for that matter), and that if you're a bad person in this life, then you'll go to a bad afterlife. I don't see how good people can go to Hell just for the simple fact that they choose to question a "Higher Power."

And I think that what Exial said, about how Hell is more like eternal torture, is true. That would be torture for me, to be able to see Heaven but never quite be able to reach it.

yoou have to either commit a big sin - killing someone
or several smaller sins without asking of forgivenes - theft/car jaking
theres also the matter of purgatory but idk what people beleifs on that are

nahh you got your agnosticism kinda wrong. the agnostic asserts that human knowledge is limited. they further assert that the absolute knowledge of the existence of god is beyond the sphere of human intelligence. i read a book on agnosticism by S.T. Joshi. its some good shit i would check it out if your interested in the subject

It says in the Bible that the only way that you can NEVER go to Heaven is if you deny that Jesus exists and is God's son. So by that it means, don't question God, and you can do whateverthefuck you want and still get into Heaven, as long as you're truly sorry for it later on in life. It doesn't matter if you killed 85489430 people, raped every woman you've ever met, etc, as long as you ask for forgiveness, you can make it into Heaven.

It's all a bunch of Bullshit, really.

i consider myself a nihilist (was raised and confirmed as a catholic but quit after confirmation because my mom told me "i don't give a shit what you do after but you're getting confirmed" ).... well basically the philosophy is pretty much belief in nothing and that everything is pointless... doesn't specifically mention an afterlife or abscence of one. i'm not sure (agnostic in that way i guess) and still think about it sometimes.... most of it sounds like false promises and wishful thinking at best.
