I need money

i posted a thread earlier about sellin burned cds and dvds.

i m gonna do the dvds. anybody know any good programs, preferably free, that can rip, convert, compress, and burn dvds.
i figure, get the dvd-r disks at the 5 finger discount, and sell the dvds at 5-7 bucks a pop, and eventually but the 160 gig portable hard drive that cost 80 bucks at walmart?
