he's posting on this site that his friend died two hours ago....i dont know whether he realizes it, but he's doing something called celebrating the dead. it exists in every culture throughout time, and the belief is (or it would seem that way to outside cultures) that by remembering the dead, by telling others of them, you keep the person alive. it's also a major part of the grieving process, and you're all a bunch of fucking dicks.

grow the fuck up and accept that you shouldnt be posting this shit here, you dont know what it's like, and all of you grieve differently.

It doesn't matter if they weren't going to be friends or not (which chances are, if they were good pals, they'd still have a chance to be out of high school. I'm still really good friends with quite a few people from my high school, especially my graduating class) they were still best friends. There's a chance that in 1 month, you could be on no-speaking terms with everyone in this life at your moment. But losing them right now, at this very point in time, would still be a bad thing.

People in this situation aren't looking for advice, they're looking for support.

You handle things differently because you've basically gotten used to all of this. Also, you believe in an afterlife, and apparantly you believe that everyone who dies will go to a good afterlife, and you also believe that everyone's life sucks. Some people don't believe that. That may work for you. But others don't think like that. Some people just need help through these things, and if you couldn't do that, then you shouldn't have said anything, especially since that's what he needs right now.
