i was actually sitting here for a while debateing on wether or not to say something.

but in all honesty, it sux but thats life, your friends lucky in a way, he dont gatta deal with shit anymore.

and if you really think about it, you two probably wouldnt have been friends for all that long, maybe untill highschool but after that theres a very slim chance you would have still been such close friends

Yes, Sabitur, it really sucks that you had to lose your friend. But in a sense, these guys are also right. It would've been better to talk to family, friends, etc about the problem. Especially seeing as how these guys are treating you for it (which is bullshit, you guys).

Well obviously, he can't handle it that well. Some people don't think of it as "oh well" because death doesn't happen too often around them.
If you don't want to give sympathy, then don't reply at all, and especially don't be an asshole about the whole thing.

I've had 4 of my friends die since sophomore year. Suicide,OD,OD, Drunk driving accident.

Okay, so apparantly we've all had to deal with death. You should know how it feels. And when someone tells you to basically "suck it up, it happens" just hours after that person's death, you're not going to say "Okay." and go about your business. Remember how you felt with the whole thing.
