If you wanted to get away with murder all you need to do is: take the person you want to kill out on a deep sea "fishing" trip, it would be good to have a boat that has a kitchen on it, or at least a stove, and also bring a lot of fishing lead. While in international waters, take and tie them to a chair, take all the fishing lead a melt it on the stove. Take and pour all the molten lead down the persons throat, this will kill them in a matter of minutes. After you've poured about 30 lbs. of molten lead down the persons throat just toss the person overboard and they'll sink to the bottom where the fish will eat all the flesh, and the bones will never be found.

Of course you'd need to explain to everybody what "happened" to him and why you couldn't save them. And of course if you had previous qualms with this person, someone would suspect you when they mysteriously died on a 2 person deep sea fishing trip

Many people die each year as a result of boating "accidents," and that's exactly what I would tell every one this was, an accident. The details of said accident are up to the perpatraitor.

You could just say that you guys were drugs on the fishing trip at night and you passed out and when you woke up, you couldn't find him; as long as there isn't any spilt blood that is.
