if you do not know how to use a knife and your opponent knows self defense, you are going to be laughed at when he rips that knife from your hand and proceeds to kick your ass. i've seen it happen in a 5 on 2 where my friend and his friend beat the shit out of 5 guys with knives who tried to jump them.

2 of the 5 had to go to the hospital for being stabbed with their own knives.

extensive krav maga training has taught me alot of good knife defence and by far the best method is not to get yourself in the situation. if you see a guy coming at you with a knife just fuckin run, why would anyone go in and try and disarm them which is incredibly difficult even for people who have trained for years. also i reckon if you need a knife to win a fight your a little punk faggot who should have his teeth kicked in.

because stuff like that usually doesn't just happen. people generally don't just get jumped in the middle of a public place unless they're doing something they're not supposed to be doing. 4 guys probably aren't just gonna come up and jump you unless you've really pissed someone off, owe someone money, are affiliated with a gang, or that it's known that you either have a decent amount of drugs or money on you. 4 guys can randomly come up and beat the shit out of you and rob you for no reason, ya that can spontaneously happen..... but it probably won't.
