Hey here in my town we have like 3 cops and there all disrespectful assholes so like does anyone know a way to get back at them or a number to call to report them or anything but no i dont want to fucking kill them lol thanx for any ideals

Cops can be dicks, just like everyone. I've met some really nice cops, and some jackass cops (more nice cops than jackasses). There are cool people and assholes in every profession. Sometimes the cops that frequent your area have seen too much shit and therefore they just become dicks or it could be the area that you live in. If you live in an area where they are trying to crack down on crime, cops are going to be dicks to everyone that is infringing upon laws.

If you act like a retard or jackass around cops, they will respond by acting like a dick to you. Usually (for me anyways), if you attempt to be friendly with cops, they will treat you better. If you talk to them with hostility or be a smartass/jackass/fucktard, they will be a dick to you.

The police are not above the law. They are not legally allowed to arrest, beat, draw their weapon, search you or your vehicle, ect. without a reason. The reason can be complete bullshit though (as long as it is along the lines of breaking a law and some how tying it to you without being arbitrary).

Every time that a report comes to the attention to the higher up police officials, they usually follow up with an investigation into the matter (pending on the seriousness/validity of the report). If the offense is seriousness or has an almost certain validity, then there may be an immediate suspension that will last until the investigation is completed.

First, know your rights. Second, go to the right people. If you go up to a random officer, speaking your mind won't change anything and will just piss him off. Finally, when you finally find some senior official that can actually do something about changing policy or can bring your concern to someone that can, talk to them in a professional, non-offensive way. If you cannot withhold your temper and/or refrain from swearing, find out who the chief of police is and send him letters. If you mention specific cops that are being dicks (via names or badge numbers) then there will be a greater chance that something will be done.

Also, there is a shortage of police officers in Alberta. This means that the police are being overworked and stressed out. If they are stressed out, they don't want to take shit from some punk kid or some jackass.

Just a thought: If you are in the wrong, admit it and apologize. An apology will get you out of more shit than being a prick ever will.

Well its a definite thing that the cops are trying to crack down on the law around here.
There is quite a problem with it and they are gradually making headway.
I still dont think that they should have a blind eye turned to them just because they
are overworked and stressed, so are all of us. Everyone has stress, but that doesnt give anyone
else the right to do that kinda shit so i dont think it should be "okay" for them to do it.
I do agree that they arent about to tolerate any shit when they're dealing with you and i
do my best to cooperate with them just to avoid further conflict with them. Anyone who
has had to deal with cops, whether it be anything from writing a statement to being arrested, knows
that dealing with cops sucks.
New Years eve I was...umm..."reasonably" drunk and walking home from the bar when a cop rolled up
and got out of his car and told me to get against the trunk. I did, and i even
asked him if he wanted my
name, phone number, address, etc, since they usually ask you all that shit.
I wasnt causing trouble, or yelling,
or being a prick or anything, but he took me down anyways. When we got to the cop shop, he let me
out and told me to lay go face down on the trunk again so he could take the cuffs off (which he didnt do).
When i was laying over he pulled me about 10 inches off the trunk and slammed my head against it
8 or 9 times. I wasnt resisting, i wasnt swearing, I wasnt doing anything. Then im thinking "holy fuck wtf!!!"
and im asking him why hes doing that and such and he just tells me to shut the fuck up.
Then when we're walking in, approaching the door, he shoves me from behind about 4 feet away from it,
and since i still have the cuffs on i go face-first into a big steel door. Once we're inside its pretty well smooth sailing.
They take everything i have, (which is standard for when your in a holding cell) plus they take my
sweater and shirt, (which isnt standard for the drunk tank). Once im in the cell they dont give me a cot,
or a blanket, which they're supposed to. In the morning i dont get all of my shit back, and 2 out of 3 officers
are sitting there cutting me down and when i say something about it they tell me if i wanna make an issue of
it then i can just get back in the cell or else they'll make me.
What kind of bullshit is that?

And #1 i wasnt even drunk enough to be in there

No matter how shitfaced I have ever become (even when I was taken to the hospital the next morning for alcohol poisoning when I was barely responding) I remember every single moment of whenever I have gotten drunk/stoned/tweaked/all-of-the-above. Remembering everything that has happened in a night doesn't mean that you weren't drunk.

At any rate, that is irrelevant. You should really call in a complaint and take it as far as it can go. This kind of shit will only go on for as long as people let it go on for.

I guess we're different in that way. I tend to black-out when i get shitfaced
especially if there is any narcotics involved too haha.
I could go to some of the bars i've been to and not even know where
the bathroom is cause i dont remember that part of the night at all.
