Kinda, but i still have a problem? Why would you be suddenly transported back to your own time? Say you killed your grandpa and then slept with your grandma, then you lived your intire life growing retarded babies and rasing them in unique ways (compared to your great grandpa^10). Wouldnt you be able to live in the time you traveled until you died. But then you would kill off the time you left because that time was dependent on your families existence. then the time you left(the future) would have to restart right? It couldnt hold up with the absence of such a monumental change... maybe I was just thinking.

Well I just thought of this. Im acting like Humans anything anything to do with the creation of the universe. We are too insignificant in the universe to make such a change.

That doesnt hold up for me. Cause we are talking about coming from the future, destroying your own family line in the past, and living in the past. Cause you cant give birth you yourself, so wouldnt that just create a new time line. And the old time (the future) would go on with the absence of you... but then if you killed your grandfather, and thus you have killed off your own bloodline, and replaced it with your own bloodline. What I mean is that you are still different from you great grandpa eventhough you still share common DNA. So now you make your own set of grand children, in place of your great grandpas grand children. So you now have killed off people who used to be in the future, with people you made in the present(the past). So it seams to me that the future would ether change dramaticly or we would miss the one person who went in the past and killed his family line and replaced it with his own. And once this single person did this, they would make thier own new time line and have no effect on our current time. It would be like as if the time traveler died.

Lightbulb An Interesting Book

I have a book in mind that might answer your questions much better than me; I could try to, but it would take to much time to explain every aspect of the problems created when traveling time; the name of the book is Time Travel in Einstein's Universe: The Physical Possibilities of Travel Through Time; you should be able to find this book at your local library or online. It should answer all the questions you have about time travel.

We have already stated this fact, if you would have read the entire thread you would know this.

A deo et rege I get what your saying and I actually thought the same thing, in less intelligent words though.

I looked at it this way as a possibility of what could be if this scenario could/would happen.

Since it becomes a loop where I constantly come back infinitely times. Fucking my grandma dying and then being born as my grandson and all that shit. Do you think you would be born with the same consciousness I can't really explain it very well. Like would you still be you. You know how you see from behind your own eyes and live and you are your self. I find this the hardest thing to explain I hope you get it.

Well if you were born with the same consciousness and shit then I see this as one way of immortality. But it has an evil side to it. You will be damned to live the same life infinitively.

I hope someone understands this.

i get it like you would be born but still have like your memory with you.... well if the loop was created and you kept on passing your memories and thoughts/ect back in time you eventually be like the smartest person in the world... weird...

That certain insect was supposed to be somewhere at a certain time and that would have changed history, but you killed it so that event never takes place.

This is intresting, because what is time but light. Think about when we look into a telescope and look at a star 30 light years away, We are seing that star 30 years ago. Think if we look at the galaxy that is 2 million light years away, we are seing that galaxy 2 million years ago. This is trippy to think about, what does that mean about time? is time just light? or is time not even relevant? do we just use time as a way to increment the movement threw space? Im not really sure......
It's more like the butterfly effect. Are you sure that's what the chaos theory is? I thought it was about chaotic elements added to a system eventually cause the system to change/and also the inverse.
