This is intresting, because what is time but light. Think about when we look into a telescope and look at a star 30 light years away, We are seing that star 30 years ago. Think if we look at the galaxy that is 2 million light years away, we are seing that galaxy 2 million years ago. This is trippy to think about, what does that mean about time? is time just light? or is time not even relevant? do we just use time as a way to increment the movement threw space? Im not really sure......

it's not einstein's saying dumbass...its newton's third law of motion...and to answer you question about using light to measure distance...yes what do you thing a light-year is? the distance light travels in a year which is approx. 5.6 trillion miles...and a parasec is 3.26 light years...so yeah. So if the Sun just suddenly "shut off" we wouldn't know about it for about 8 1/2 mins, cause it takes light that amount of time to reach us at 1AU(astronomical unit), which is 93 million miles....sry but it pisses me off when ppl get science shit like that mixed up
