celebrity attention
does anybody else think that the sheer amount of attention that celebrities get could be better used for curing diseases, inventing new sources of power, the war on Iraq and countless other things that could be delt with or at least taught in school or am i even more idiotic than i think

i dont know it just pisses me off

Well, celebrity attention allows for a lot of consumerism, and consumerism is good for the economy. If the economy is up, so are taxes. If taxes are up, more money goes to funding of "curing diseases, inventing new sources of power, the war on Iraq, and countless other things that could be delt with or at least taught in school." So celebrity attention is good.

like, when they were talkin about hilton going to jail for a very very short time, they all started talking about her losing a fucking blackberry and not being able to call or any of that.

well, how's this for news? that's how jail is supposed to be! >.<

I think it's retarded how they call it "news." b'cuz it's usually not and it annoys the fuck outta me.
honestly I think news is retarded:

1.) they always talk about stuff and make it seem worse, and they try to scare people.

2.)they accuse people of stuff, even if they don't know what they really did. (nancy grace is one of the worst at doing that).

3.) they start a story, go on with it for about a day, and then they stop and never tell people the ending of it, or how it realy happened.

4.) they always say it's their story, which is true. it's just a story, they don't always know if they have accurate facts, they just peice it together how they want it to sound, usually.

5.) they do it all for ratings and they don't really care, as long as they get good ratings and good money, they don't give a shit about anyone else...

see? palm3r sees what i mean. and aj sorry mate but i think that great minds and important subgets are being turned away from attention just because of celebs and as if it were an example to this this morning on the news they were talking about how julie benz ranked 13th in skating and on the banner below it said their was 2 children frozen on the street but didnt talk about the kids
