how would we know if our weapons would work against them tho. I think it would be them with the better weapons. If they reached earth it would show they are more advanced. But if they made contact who's to say they wont want peace?

I wasnt just thinking of conventional weapons. We have bacteria. We have viruses. We have diseases. They're new to the planet and have no resistence to them. And the wide range of what we have means that even with advanced medical research by them would cost them alot.

but u cant be sure any of that would work unless its already been tested on them. Until then its just Q.E.D
Also saying the medical research would cost them too much would only apply if they had a system like our's they could have a whole other way of doing things just to get here would mean they have flown manned (or is it aliened lol) flights at speeds of which we can only dream of with our current tech
