Need to get back to the primitive yo. Ride around on fuckin' horses n' shit. And yes i'm being serious. I've heard of several attempts by thousands of people sayin' some shit like "Ok, for the next 4 days nobody in this county or this city are going to buy gas", it's shit like that, that makes gas prices go up.

If we want gas prices to go down, we need to show the government, and we need to show the people putting the gas and fuels in the drums that we dont need them. We can survive without gas. We don't need anyones stupid consumer bullshit, but there are too many close minded people out there, that want there fuckin ipods, acne cream and gas so they can go to the fuckin mall on friday night to fuckin shop. Ick.

Alternative fuels.......Y'know steam is a possibility? Yeah.....Just water and heat.....Think about that one, government will lose money if they research and make that alternative work, along with any other alternatives really.

OH MY FUCKING GOD! THE SUPER RICH WONT BECOME MORE SUPER RICH! We can't have that.....Fuckin faggots.

your point about steam, where would you get the heat, burning of a fossil fuel such as coal and you cannot put a steam engine in a car unless you want to stop every 4 minutes and shovel coal into it, the only work for trains and boats, and if every body stopped buying gas for a week the price wouldnt go up at most it would stay the same, have you ever heard of supply and demand?

Yep, supply and demand.....It's thoughts like those, yours that won't be making the gas prices go down anytime soon. You really think if a large group of people stopped buying gas for a week it would help the prices go down? No......No, no, no........Because then those people would either A. Buy alot of gas before the strike or B. Buy alot of gas after the strike.....I'm not saying that this one group of people stopped buying gas for a period of time it would boost gas prices dramatically, but if ALOT of large groups do it at the SAME TIME, yes, I do think it would effect the gas prices, maybe not a lot, maybe just a little, but, no matter which was, yes there will be consequences. Exactly what ye said, supply and demand.

About the steam issue, you are thinking with a closed mind, ye are thinking of what we already have, (trains and boats).....I was throwing an IDEA out there, not necessarily a steam engine. I SAID steam can make things move....Duh. I'm sure if there was enough thought put into it, by an assorted number of brilliant minds, with the technology we have today, it could be done.

Fucking people with their technicalities.....Remember to think outside of the box kids.

if a town or county stopped buying gas for a week it wouldn't do anything but if enough people stopped buying gas for a long time then the prices would go down but jump right back up to where they were once they started buying again, but thats completely hypothetical, gas is in too great demand for some one to just stop buying it. and im not thinking with a closed mind i know it cannot be done, thats like saying there must be some way to run a 747 with a engine that runs on penut oil, it cannot be done, if you know how a steam engine works then you will see that it cannot be done, and even if it did there would be no benifit, you still need to burn something to get the heat. and if you'd notice we dont use steam engines anymore, because you cant advance on that concept, but if you think of a way im all ears.

Well, when the price of something pretty much quadruples in a very short amount of time, it's enough to make anyone complain. Also, a lot of people around where I live have to live off of minimum wage ($5.85), live on their own, have to drive to work every day, etc, so they basically have no money.

well if your talking about an open mind and with the water thing i would aggree that it would be bitching if we could find a way to run it off the hydrogen molucules in water, if thats what your talking about... but then again that wouldnt exactly be steam powered any more.. or if your thinking of trying to burn differnt things then that isnt exactly a advanced thought, we would be going back in proggress.... and if you feel so strongly about the steam thing why dont you throw some sort of ideas out there instead of just bringing it up, that would be like me saying im sure there are some bright minds out there that could find a way to run the car off of my ass.... it just doesnt make much sence unless you back it up with something.... as far as horse and shit like that lets not even talk non sence there is no way our world could be run the way it is now with out things being able to be overnighted across the world and what not....

i agree with OMGthePeSt, and horses was a cool idea, i didnt think of that

We don't need gas!
That's just what they want us to think so the corporate shits can make their money.
There are plenty of ways we can get around without gas.

Now what'd be cool is nuclear cars haha
maybe not, but muscle/people power works fine.
Look at the fucking pyramids? Did they use gas?

the pyramids? wtf thats not a mode of tranportation, and they used slave labor to build those, and gasoline isnt some corporate scheme, no one is forcing us to buy it its just a need, kind of like food. its sad that we are so dependant on it that i have to compare it with that buts thats just how it is. and the bike thing wouldn't be bad if you worked locally, but i dont see comuters riding their bikes all the way to work. and nuclear cars? if you think vehicle emissions couldnt get any worse. that is just an all around bad idea, do you now how much fissile waste is a product of nuclear fission?
