I'm going to be an asshole and say this, but the only good thing Australia is good for is fleeing the US to avoid collection agencies. I would agree on america being mostly hillbillies. But it does have it's share of good people, and great places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, other than maybe Canada, and i can say that from being around the world to many different countries. We just have a way of going about things wrong, other countries think that because our government fucks up, that, that represents the people in our country. We all have our share of idiots, ours just happen to be in charge of things right now. Give us time, when all the old people die we will become a better nation, we won't be such a republican nation.

Melbourne is the most liveable city in the world, vancouver is second.

We have the cleanest water, the cleanest air, and the least congestion of a major CBD anywhere.
