Conflict in the middle east.

Fierce factional violence has continued in the Gaza Strip, with Hamas fighters battling forces loyal to Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president and leader of Fatah.

Residents said Hamas appeared to be in control of many areas Gaza on Thursday and were surrounding Fatah forces across the territory.

As the fighting continued, the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation recommended that Abbas dismiss the national unity government, during a meeting held in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

The executive also recommended that the president declare a state of emergency in Gaza and the West Bank, and seek international protection against Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's armed wing.

"The executive committee authorised Abbas to take whatever decision he judges appropriate with regard to the government and to resolve the current crisis," said one participant.

More than 80 people have been killed since Saturday in the worst factional violence since Hamas won a parliamentary election last year. This makes the Middle Eastern conflicts total at three, and with Iran supplying the Taliban with weapons there could be four before the end of the year.

These people have been fighting for years... This is another reason why the United States is in the Middle East, is because of the protection of Isreal.

Well i don't really think America is there for the protection of Isreal because they have one of the best militaries in the world.
Furthermore I think America is in the middle east for their own investments and fighting Al Qaeda is just a good motive.
People look to America for support, what our gov't doesnt realize is that if we keep on the path of waste and war then is there gonna be a day sometime soon when we're gonna be the ones in need of support.

Not the most "sophisticated" but the most expencive 5th generation fighter out there, but then there is the J-10, Gripen (Amazing) , SU-47 (Amazing) and Russia will be comming out with a "better" new 5th generation fighter.

Japan,Australia and Canada are interested in buying it, Israel dose not have the F-22 Raptor they use the F-16's, the United States has 70 F-22's... And the United States don't seem to keen about selling their latest technology to anyone as of right now, it's not seen much if not any action at all. The F-16's are doing the jobs.

But the Gripen, SU-37, SU-34, are amazing multi task jets.

I don't either, the F-22 is a good fighter-bomber jet, but it is too expencive... There are jets out there that can do the same thing that cost alot less, due to the material used and the weapons chosen for it, etc.
