I think morals have a lot to do with environment.
A persons morals / values, I think, are directly related to what
they were shown, or what they noticed most while they were
being brought up or what they see most in their lives as adults/teens.
I do think a persons values can change in the right circumstances though.
I live in Canada and I even see some corruption in the system.
New Years Eve I got sent to the Drunk Tank, I went there with 260$
in my wallet and when i was released the next day i had 20$. When i said
i had more there they said if your calling us theives you can just get right
back in that cell. And they started cuttin me down and shit. There was
nothin i could have done, there was 3 of them and i was in the cop-shop
already no more than 6 feet away from a holding cell. so i just said "fuck-it,
no i didnt have any more money then. This town is so fucked up" and then
they replied with, "ya with pieces of shit like you in it it sure is fucked up."
Also i was in court fighting a bogus ticket and there was a puerto-rican guy
in there and with a Posession charge of under 1 gram. He got a big-ass fine, and 18 months probation, and this guy was flying out form ontario (to alberta) every 3 weeks for court appearances for 6 months already. After the
judge gave his speech the guy left. The next guy, being charged with trafficking with 1 prior in traficking and also 1 assault prior, got off with
6 months probation. He was white.
I dunno if thats the kinda corruption your talkin about but thats some of
what ive seen up here in the Great White North.
